What's the best way to store my beer? Right now I just have some bottles in the fridge and the rest sitting in the pantry until I need to stock the fridge again. How long will they last in the pantry? I've heard the beer will even get better the more it ages in the pantry, but when is the cutoff point?

Having a beer age sucessfully depends on several factors, including the following...

1) Does the storage area have a constant temperature or have minimal temperature fluctuations?

2) What is the ABV of the beer? Bigger beers age better. Beers below about 7% do not benefit from extended aging. Some large beers are excellent after several years, but that would really depend on what your criteria for excellent is.

For more information on extended storage I'd recommend checking out this site
