Anyone ever try ziptieing a paint strainer or cheese cloth to a dip tube in a corny. Sanatizing it and using it to filter beer? Good idea or bad?
 
Yes, people do that. Very useful, if you dry hopped in the keg. I have a keg with a SS filter over the pickup reserved for blackberry cider.
