Never tried either. No RR this far east. Tried others from Goose, I approve. I will try to find the Sofie.
Wow, what a cryptic post. After deducing what it means I have to say they don't seem to be comparable beers. Damnation is a Belgian Strong Golden and Sofie is a Farmhouse.
That being said, I've had Damnation and wasn't much of a fan, so you very well may be right. We don't get GI out here.

I'm no atheist scientist, but...
random classifications aside, they are very similar beers. I found Sofie to be more appealing to me. Damnation had that classic "tin foil" aftertaste I find in sours. Maybe Damnation will age better.
