When in England I drink this stuff like it was life juice!
Order it buy saying 'A pint of numbers please'.
Anyone else had it. How about a extract recipe!

i had it in Germany at a train station in Berlin... or maybe it was hamburg or cologne... i can't remember... either way the train station was partially sponsored by it so i thought id give it a try.

i would be interested in doing a clone of this as well.

I had it in France. I liked it with pizza, but I didn't think it was amazing. I'd order it again though if I was craving something like that, and on occasion I am.

I taste a bit of grapefruit in the flavor so I am guessing a cascade hop but what about the rest.

I doubt they're using an American hop to brew lager in Strasbourg. Strisselspalt.

edit: from the website...
Its unique recipe is distinguished by the use of the aromatic Strisselspalt hop — the ‘caviar of hops’ which sets it apart from other beers.

Here is what I found on the hops.

Strisselspalt Hops
French

Strisselspalt is the major hops of the Alsace area of France near Strasbourg

Good to very good aroma hop.

Substitutions: Mt Hood, Crystal, Hersbrucker

Typical Beer Styles: Pilsner, Lagers & Wheats

The alpha rating is usually 3 - 5%.

Puts Cascade out of the equation.
