I love the thin wall. Definitely more fragile then your average pint glass, but I prefer thinner anyway. I have some mugs in my collection, but never drink out I'd them for this reason. It's a "tactile" thing.

Volume-wise it's visually deceptive. Shape-wise it kinda reminds me of one if those ancient pewter drinking cups, actually.

May do a side by side tasting tonight but don't really expect anything. Bought one because I liked the glass, not because of the hype. Would be pleasantly surprised to be pleasantly surprised, however.
