Maytag 14.8 cubic foot on sale at HD for around $359

Just an FYI for anyone looking to build a keezer. Home Depot just lowered their price on the Maytag 14.8 cubic inch freezer from $449 to $398...plus an extra 10% off. Net price is around $359.

I believe this is the same freezer in the Northern Brewer how-to video.

It's smaller than the unit in the OP's post and is at Lowe's rather than HD.

where did you see the 10% off? I can't find that anywhere.

The Home Depot 10% off was advertised in-store only...not on the website. I went by today to check since I bought the unit at the higher price (but with free delivery). It appears that the free delivery is not advertised now, but the better price is.

The good news is that they honored the new price and refunded the $54 difference from last week and they are still providing free delivery. Score!

Update: 10% off in store verified by HBT members in San Diego and Kansas City too.
