I am in the process of making an ipa that has grains. I was concerned with being able to keep temp at 150 while steeping.
I used a cooler like most of u do, but I then cut a piece of two inch form to fit inside the cooler. I then cut a small hole on the center so I could slide my therm into it. This way I don't lose any heat trying to check temp. works great
