Hey guys, my girlfriend and I will be in the Lyndhurst area visiting her sister over Thanksgiving weekend. What are some must stop places in the area? Breweries mainly but bottle shops would be great too. Preferably stuff I can't get in Ohio, especially due to our 12% abv cap. Maybe I would be able to find some BCBS?

Thanks!

choice destination, friend. many fine breweries in that part of the Commonwealth.

Blue Mountain, try the Dark Hollow Bourbon barrel Imperial Stout or their Full Nelson Pale Ale

Devils Backbone. very good Vienna Lager, their 8 Point IPA is one of my favorites, their Schwarzbier is very good.

Starr Hill. Northern Lights is a decent IPA

then there's Wild Wolf and farther east, you'll get into Charlottesville and 3 Notched, C'ville-ian, Champion, South Street

don't really have "bottleshops" in Virginia, there are decent selections in a lot of chain grocery stores, but you can get growler fills at Whole Foods. Grocery stores usually have a Create-Your-Own 6 pack, as does Total Wine & Beverage. which is kind of like a bottleshop, I guess
