Chest freezer help

This freezer is about 10 years old but is suppose to still work great its 8 Cubic feet. I can get it for $50. I want to make a keezer I am wondering if it is worth it to save money on this or if I should splurge and get a newer one

i'd say its totally worth it. i'm about to make my second keezer and both times i've bought older chest freezers. major money saver!

just make sure the 'rust' they mention is toward the surface and not all the way through.

Check craigslist too!

I'd ask for internal dimensions. How many homebrew kegs could you fit in the freezer and how big of a collar would you need to add? Also, ask for a picture of the insides to see how much rust is there.
