Mash at 152 for 60min. I had 70%eff
American two-row Pale Malt: 8.65lbs
Carapils: 1.30lbs
Crystal 40: 1.25lbs
Chocolate: 0.60lbs
Flaked Barley: 0.50lbs
Northern Brewer (Pellet) 0.8oz 60min
Cascade (Pellet) 1.0oz 30min
Cascade (Pellet) 0.5oz 10min
Cascade (Pellet) 0.5oz At flame out
This one receives an average of 36 points in competition. If you up the late hop additions you should have a 40 point beer on your hands. As is I would describe this as an Americanized English Brown Ale.
This beer got 3 of 10 at 8 Seconds of Froth
and 3 of 21 at the Colorado State Fair
