malkore Well-Known Member Joined Jun 15, 2007 Messages 6,924 Reaction score 56 Location Nebraska Sep 17, 2008 #2 yeah, if they look damaged or if they smell like soda pop/root beer (i.e. a refurb/used keg). i like Williams Brewing for keg lid o-rings...they have some fatter, softer rings that help used kegs get a better seal.
