So while getting off topic in another thread, I've realized that I have been really disappointed in the body/mouth-feel of Most of the micro's that I have tried recently. I'm wondering if people go pro and start to overfilter and perhaps get away from what made their beers good in the first place. Most notable is Lancaster Brewings Four Grain Amish Ale- which had decent flavor but went down like water. I think the only beer I've picked up recently with Good body are hef's/wheats, etc. Which, of course, have not been filtered at all.
I think the only one's that leaves me wanting more every time in DogFish Head- and Waybacher (Sp!).
