Assuming you have one regulator and a manifold or splitter, where do you target your volumes for your kegged brew?

2.2? 2.4? 2.6?

I know various styles are different, but what's your default?

Also, does anyone have a link for a comprehensive gas chart to determine PSI required at various temp's to achieve desired volumes?

Thanks.

I don't have a manifold, I have a dual secondary regulator so I can carbonate to different levels, but if I had to choose a single volume of CO2 that would be a good compromise for most beer styles, I would choose somewhere in the neighborhood of 2.0 volumes. That is just my taste and I'm sure others will have different levels that they like.

Here is a link to my favorite site on the subject of Draft System Line Balancing. It has a very nice carbonation chart.

If you would like one as an Excel sheet, just PM me your email address and I will dig it out for you.
