Hello,
I want to use pilsner malt as my base malt instead of using US pale in my ipas or pales or ambers. So I just wanted to know what are the pros and cons to this and do I need to use more or less or the same compared to pale malt in my recipe.
Thanks

You should have no problems. Make sure to incorporate a longer boil to drive off DMS.

Welcome to the forum. Pilsner malt is made from 2-row, it just needs a longer mash and a longer boil. I would recommend a 90 minute mash to ensure a full conversion and a 90 minute boil to drive off DMS. Good luck.
