I have the kettle but I don't have the basket.
I'm looking to convert to a "partial electrical" system w/ element and one of the ideas I have involves using the basket in the kettle at some points.
My question for anyone who has this setup is how far off the bottom of the kettle does the basket actually sit?
I've looked at the info on Amazon and it's kind of contradictory.
I've already got some fittings on there, so holes have already been drilled in the kettle. I need to make sure those are not going to be a problem.
3" off the bottom would work, less than that and I'll probably have to think of something else.
I can always order the basket and return it if it's a no-go, but was hoping someone here could help.
