I just bottled some Newcastle Clone and it smelled great. A little darker than the real stuff but oh well. It was a little cloudy though. It went through secondary for 11 days.

Is this normal?

depends. some very un-flocculent yeast will take longer,or do better with crash cooling or gelatin finings.

You could also try cooling down the secondary to 30-40F for a couple days before bottling, but chilling the bottles for a couple weeks after you acheive carbonation will really clear the beer.
