Chocolate Stout

I'm going to be brewing up the Austin Homebrew Double chocolate stout soon, and giving it away at Christmas time (not all of it!).
prior to finding the kit, i was going to make the recipe from BYO i think. the yeast they recommend is different than the ones offered with the kit. which yeast do i use? which would be best. BYO has Wyeast 1318 (London Ale III) yeast.
also, i'm going to do the mini-mash, do i do LME, or DME?

I brewed AHS DC Stout and it was outstanding. A real crowd pleaser and people ask for it. I did the mini mash and go with the cheapest - LME - their's is pretty fresh.

Read the reviews on their site. Needs aging! Will taste very good early but ages very very well.

I would go with whatever yeast AHS has - their kits are solid, tried and true.
