Can I substitute Halcyon or Maris Otter for British Golden Promise grain in a Wee Heavy Scottish Ale? I have about 10 lbs of Halcyon and 10 lbs of Maris Otter along with plenty of 2-Row Brewer's malt. I need to have 16 lbs of base grain for my first attempt at a scottish wee heavy.

Yup, it's not a problem at all and will turn out a really similar beer. Many people wouldn't even be able to tell the difference.
