Rice Syrup Question

Getting ready to brew a 10 gal batch of Pre Pro Classic American Pilsner. It will be my first lager & first time using maize & rice syrup. The recipe calls for 2 lbs corn maize & 2 lbs rice syrup in addition to the malts. The LHBS I visited only had bags of rice syrup "solid" in 1 lb bags. Is it safe to assume 2 pounds of this added to the boil is the same as 2 lbs of rice syrup? In my mind I was looking for liquid in a jug or something like that. Thanks in advance for any clarification. :confused:
