Hi All,

I have a small chest freezer that I'm not using and would like to put to good, multiple brewing uses.

I'm not to sure on the cubic feet of the freezer, but it will only hold 2 corny kegs on the deep side.

I may be asking too much out of a single small freezer, but here is the wish list:

Serve chilled kegged beer
fermenting lagers or ales (not at the same time)
lagering

Temperature Ranges:

Ales: 65-72*
Lagers: 48-55*
Lagering: ~32* (can I lager my lagers at the serving temperature? My understanding is that it is best near 32*)
Serving: Not too sure 40-48* area.

So the questions is what is the best method of chilling/cooling the chambers?

Ducting from chest freezer to the particular chamber with a fan?

Or

Pumping chilled glycol into the chamber with a Hayden 401 transmission oil cooler type setup.

Thanks

Chris
