Fermometer question

Where is the best place to put the sticky fermometer on the carboy?? Does it matter? I am assuming the middle would be ok.

Yeah that should be fine. I would probably place it about 1/3 down, but it really probably doesn't matter that much. Fwiw, keep in mind that during a vigorous ferment that reading may actually be a few degrees lower than your actual wort temperature. It is good though for ballpark readings.
 
You mean it isn't supposed to go on the inside??? I was wondering why I was having such a hard time trying to figure out how to get it to stick. :mug:

Something for resurrecting the dead. :mug: Haven't found a thread on it, how long are yins getting out of a stick on fermometer??
