Yes, that's right.

Wilkes County, North Carolina. Known for it's brewing. Although not with barley & hops! :p

There was a time when I didn't like beer, but as the old saying goes, you know you're getting older when .......my enlightenment came in the form of a wheat concoction known as the "Hetian" at Natty Greene's in Greensboro, N.C.

That was about 2 years ago & now I am on the verge of my first brew! WOO-HOO!!!!

Got a 5 gallon batch of, wait for it, yes-WHEAT-on the way through the snail mail & can't wait to get it!

Welcome to the board from Wake County. Just remember the mash process is the same if you want to ferment the sugars into alcohol or distill them into alcohol.
