I am converting a recipe to all-grain. the orginal has:

2oz roasted barley
8oz chocolate malt
10oz british amber malt
10oz crystal 60L
7lbs light DME

If these are steeped they just are for flavour. but if I just throw them in the mash with 9lbs of 2-row pale grains or will the flavour be different than just steeping them seperately?

All but the DME are fine to mash.

That's what all grain is. No separate steeping.

(DME wouldn't be in an allgrain, figured you knew that)

yes, the taste will be different than the steeped, extract version, but IMHO mashing them all together (with the 2-row in place of the DME) will yield a superior beer in terms of flavor, body, and overall complexity ...
