I brewed my fourth batch yesterday, and the first one that was my own recipe.

Ditzy Blonde Ale

6 lbs extra pale lme
0.5 lbs crystal 10L. Steeped 15 minutes

0.75 oz Saaz hops for 60 minutes
0.25 oz Mt. Hood hops for 5 minutes

White Labs German Ale/Kolsch yeast.

I was shooting for a blonde ale using ingredients I already had. I hit my OG, although it was a little on the low side. I need to figure out how to adjust my hydrometer for temperature. Using an ice bath I brought everything down to 80 degrees in 15 minutes. Much better than the 15 it took last time.

I'm feeling pretty good, like I might be starting to have a clue about what I'm doing :rockin:

Haha
Same with me.

Did #3 and #4 back to back this weekend.

Its nice when you start getting a system going and everything seems to go smoothly.
