Alright guys I'm looking to make something light for springtime. I wanted a little feedback on this honey cream ale recipe. I have done mostly kits so far.

Steeping grains
Victory (biscuit malt) .25lb
Crystal 20L .25lb

Light dme 4.5lb

Honey 1lb

Hops
.5oz marynka 60min.
.5oz liberty 15 min.
.5oz styrian goldings 5min.

Yeast
safale s-05

I don't have the ability to ferment cold hence the s-05. The hop selections are what seem to match the style and are not insanely expensive an ounce at my lhbs.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
Jason

If it were my beer, I might up the alcohol a bit, so more honey or extract, maybe both. lme or dme would be best. Maybe even steep some honey malted barley.

I had thought about adding more honey, but I don't want this to be a knock you on your arse in 2 beers deal. Usually I do like a higher abv, but this one I hope will be a good spring/summertime guzzler.

Most cream ales have some kind of adjuncts like flaked rice or flaked corn. I just did Jamil's cream ale and I had a pound of flaked rice and cane sugar. Let us know how yours turn out.

can I get the correct outcome from steeping corn or flaked rice?can I just add some rice solids? I don't have the equipment to do pm:(
