Curious if anyone has tried these before.

I was given two bottles of this for my birthday and tried one last night. The bottles are almost champagne bottles which is fitting because it had both the mouthfeel and cidery/fruity taste as sparkling wine (but its beer!!). There wasn't much head and it was very clear. Overall I actually really enjoyed it!

I might want to try to clone it because it was so strange yet delicious. It might just be my lack of style knowledge but I haven't had a BEER like it before.

I'm thinking it might have champagne yeast in it... but then again what do I know seeing as I have never made anything but beer let alone used champagne yeast...

Don't know how costly it is because it was a gift but I would recommend it!

Google found this:

Blue Moon Vintage Blonde Ale (8.5 ABV)

MillerCoors

A Blue Moon Brewing Company, everything we do flows from out brewmaster’s artistic approach to brewing. Vintage Blonde Ale, part of our Brewmaster’s Reserve Collection is his latest work of art. This limited edition wheat ale is brewed with Chardonnay grape juice for crisp, dry taste.

I had one, it was ok but I personally didn't care for it much.... in other words I would opt for a regular 'ol Blue Moon over this one every time. It was interesting that it had Chardonnay grapes in it but I felt it was more like a hybrid between beer and champagne. Definitely an interesting experience, just didn't wow me.
