Once the keg is carbonated how long will the beer stay carbonated with the gas not hooked up? I ask as I only have one tank but 2 locations for beer, home and cottage, so I'd need to travel with my tank.
 
Assuming that your keg doesn't leak the carbonation will not change. Think bottled beer. If the carbonation changes then you have a leak and you need to fix that.
