This is my first time of making a cider if you want to call it that. But I used
1 pound light pilsner DME
1 pound caramel 80L
.5 pound caramel 120L
.5 torrified wheat
4oz molasses
.25 oz perle hops @ 30min AA 8.0
.25 oz perle hops @ 0min AA 8.0
Brings me to 1.5 gallons of wort
Added 2.5 gallons generic apple juice pasteurized w/ no vitamin C
1 gallon pasteurized store cider
Wyeast 3068 weihenstephan weizen
Gravity 1.054

I used the yeast last time in a black hefe and it turned out great, clean tasting with light cloves and very creamy head (fine bubbles). This is a 5 gallon batch (yeah I know I wanted to go all or nothing). The color looks like it will be a medium orange brown.

Anyways I just wanted thoughts/comments on what I did here. Thanks

Looks like a nice Graf cider to me. I think the molasses might add a nice touch. I've never used Perle in a Graf, but I've used Norther Brewer with WLP 810 and it was really good.

Thanks pickled P, I used Perle in my hefe also and it turned out great. I saw the Graf thing before but I don't know too much about it. The WLP 810 sounds like a good idea also.
