I picked up a 1/2inch Autosiphon, but am having a hard time finding 1/2" ID tubing. Will 5/8" ID tubing work, if I soften it up with hot water?

most LHBS have 1/2 inch silicon tubing which ought to work. Home depot lowes carries 1/2 inch ID vinyl tubing for cheap.

Thanks. My issue is that I can't get it. The nearest LHBS is 3 hours away, and my local hardware store doesn't have it.

conpewter, I'm with you, the stainless siphon is the way to go. I've been waiting to see someone post a sucessful build here.
