Hello all,

First post..... Sorry for the length :)

I just bottled a black IPA that was about 9.3% ABV. It tasted awesome before going into the bottle. It also smelled amazing as I dry hopped it with 3oz of Simcoe, 3oz of Amarillo and 1oz of Warrior. I primed it with 3/4 cup of corn sugar etc.. Anyway why does it taste and smell so different after 2.5 weeks in the bottle? Does it take a while to get back to where it was? I know it should be about 4 weeks before its ready but it tasted and smelled great at bottling time.

Thanks to everyone for all the great info on this site.
