constellation bought ballast point for $1 billion, the rest of the "article" is just speculation on boston beer's worth. no announced sale of boston beer.
Plus the stupidity of paying more than 20x the company value for Ballast Point. This was just a positioning grab. I would be willing to bet Constellation is setting this one up for a buyout from the bigger breweries.

Boston Beer is public anyway, so in that sense its always for sale.
