I purchased a water filter from more beer. I found the deal on home brew finds. I am wondering if anyone has tried using the water filter housing as a hop rocket. I'd obviously remove the cartridge prior to filling it with leaf hops. I know many have used it as a randal before, despensing their beer from a keg through the filter stuffed with hops and have gotten great results. I'm not sure why this wouldn't work as a hop rocket. After the beer is down to pitching temps, I'd run the wort through the hop filled housing and into the fermenter. I am either going to use a racking cane and use gravity(if it works), or I'd fill a keg and dispense it with o2. What do you guys think?
