First brew has been in the bottle for about 6 days, and being the anxious noob I am, I put one in the fridge and gave it an ol' try. It was very green still but what surprised me the most is that it was legitimately carbonated! A tad under carbed but I wouldn't think anything of it if it were bottled for 4 weeks and that was my product.
I used 5 oz of priming sugar and I ended up filling 45 12 oz bottles. Anything I should worry about here. There wasn't any foam or an excessive hiss when I opened it, just a faint cloud of CO2 like you expect.

It appears carbed because it's fizzy...But i's not truly carbed and conditioned til the co2 is absorbed back into the beer... Read this post, but more importantly watch the video...Poindexter shows exactly what you are describing...and explains what's happenning..

It'll be so much better in 2 1/2 more weeks! :mug:
