Hi all,
Im going to brew a bock tomorrow and i just cant decide on the grain bill. I have about five pounds of light munich, forty pounds pils, two pounds melanoidin, two pounds cara aroma and one pound cara munich 3. I have never used any of these specialty grains so info will help. Thanks

That is not the recipe, I was simply listing some of the ingredients i have. I have already looked on the weyerman site. I was just looking for someone who has used some of them and could describe them a little more. It will be a ten gallon batch.

Here is my recipe. Nice and malty.

60% munich
32% pilsner
4% melanoidin
4% something colorful

Noble hops at 60 and 20 to reach a bit over 20 IBUs. More weight on the 60 addition.

This recipe is based on Bell's Consecrator. Makes a darn good bock. Adjust the recipe to the gravity you want and have fun!
