I'm leaving next week for vacation and I currently have my DFH clone in the secondary with some dry hops. Should I rack this to an available keg, purge the keg and leave it in my basement to continue aging, or should I just leave it in the secondary (carboy) until I get back in 2 weeks?

Thanks.

Tim

I would get them off the hops. I usually only dryhop for a week. There is a risk of the beer developing grassy flavors if the hops are left to long. I would either rack it to a tertiary, or keg it. If you keg it it will get some nice conditioning time while you are gone, and you should have a great, drinkable beer when you get home.
