added 1.5oz for what was supposed to be a 90 min boil..... then started my second mashout/sparge (had to split mash into 2 parts, mash tun too small) anyway, what was a 90 min addition, is going to be at least 120min, possibly 180 min!

i have 8 gallons in a 10 gallon pot boiling away, and i do not think its possible to lose about 3 gallons in one hour...

whats this gonna do to ibu's? i figure not much at all, but thats why im askin!

now, do i do the 60 min addition in 5 minutes, or do i wait..
hmm

A quick calculation in Beer Smith says you'll most likely only end up with an extra 2 IBUs in 180 minutes vs 90. Not a big deal in my book.

Enjoy your Super Bowl Brew!

yeah i checked it out too.

good thing, i have lost over a gallon since my post!
thats less than a half hour.
looks like it will end up a 120min/90 min bittering addition.
