I have a question on additions to boil kettle.
After I figure out what goes into my mash, I need to figure the amount of sparge water for those additions.
Does this sound right?... 10gals (strike water) -3gals. grain absorbtion =7Gals. into boiler. I want 14.25Gals. to boil down to 11.
Question is, should I then be treating 7.25 gallons as sparge / boil additions?
Hope I'm clear enough. Thanks
