FINALLY found canned pumpkin!!! I'm going to be trying a pumpkin ale this weekend. Any tips? I understand the run off can be slow, so I'm going to be getting a pound of rice hulls.

I did one this weekend. I thought I was very clever when my first runoff happened without a hitch. 1st batch sparge stuck. Tried a bunch of stuff, finally blew through tube and it ran. 2nd batch sparge would not run. Took me a half hour of monkeying with it until it finally ranoff. It was slow, but I got it out of there.
My advice, if you batch sparge, do NOT do a double batch sparge.
