I made a starter for my WLP550 last week and let it sit on stir plate for 30 hours. Left it in the fridge overnight, decanted in the morning and pitched at 68F last Monday morning before leaving to work. In the evening I had healthy krausen (~4 inches) which was completely gone within ~60 hours.

This is the first time me using this yeast and is this normal? I never seen krausen drop so fast with all the other yeast's I've used.

i had a belgian imperial porter with this yeast go from 1.080 to 1.020 in about 3 days, i think it got to 1.018.
i got the impression it's a quick yeast.
