OK so I was using 4' tubing in the keggerator and was having foaming issues.

Went to 10' tubing and now having foaming issues only this time no head. The beer is carbonated fine and I can get a nice head on it if I hold it 12" below the spout. Is this stricktly a function of length (like trim them to say 6') or do I maybe have another issue?

I want to make sure before I cut the last 2 lines that need replacing and trim the 2 long ones.

No - There's alot of n00bs here now. You post probably got bumped to the bottom of the list rather quickly

I'd answer your Q but I'm not a kegger.

If you don't get any help shortly PM a mod like Edwort or Bird.

Try about six feet. I'm assuming you're using the 3/16" line. It's got a resistance of ~2PSI/ft, so it works well if you're running at 10-12 PSI. Five to six feet works well; start longer, cut it if it's still not good. Better to have a little bit slower a pour than one that's all foam (since you can always make head the way that you're doing it).
