I just rolled myself a nice IC and I want to put small length of copper tubing up one side, out of the pot, over, and down the other side. Kinda like a handle and soldered to each coil wrap to help hold it in place. Lead free solder is safe for regular plumbing but what about boiling temps? Can it handle it? will it leach anything?

Thought I would ask here first.

Just wanted to make sure there was nothing else in the solder that could leach out when boiled.
