i do AG on a stove top, and i had just finished boiling and cooling the wort, as i was transfering to my fermenter (a 5 gallon plastic bottle) when i turned around and snagged the siphon hose with my shoe and WHAM! the bottle comes crashing down on the floor, and the WHOLE thing ends up on my kitchen floor. Two hours later and several mop buckets later, i got all the stickiness up. Ive had it this was the push i needed, after i write this im heading to home depot and pick up a a turkey fryer.

Congratulations! Way to take advantage of the misfortune. It can only get better from here.

One way to force yourself to upgrade your equipment. Moving my brewing outside was a great move.

As if cleaning a sticky spill isn't bad enough - it had to be fresh wort. RIP future beer. Long live the turkey fryer!
