Beautiful System!
Anxious to hear how the IPA went.

That vent hood is beautiful! I would really like to make one like it. What did you use to create your drip channel? Also, what did you line the inside with? It reminds me of aluminum air duct tape but looks like it is all one piece. I was considering making one of wood and using FRP on the inside, but I'm not sure how it would handle the heat.
50amp control box arrived. Tested it out with a water trial yesterday. Such an awesome piece of equipment !

Yes it it! I love mine! It will spoil you in a hurry. Once you are used to it you will have extra downtime in your brew day. It also turns your system into a great sous vide cooker!
Yeah. Plan to try some sous vide items soon !

Added in the condesation edges to catch moisture drip. Floor will get tiled this week and then I can start adding brewing equipment.
What fan? What did you use to line the hood and what are you using for the drip edge? How's it holding up?
It's a Vortex Powerful. Same one used here: http://www.theelectricbrewery.com/ventilation?page=4
I lined the hood with simple aluminum duct tape. It works great. The drip edges were pieces of roofing edge flashing (very very thin) that I found at Home Depot. Very cheap and work great. Cut them to size and used an adhesive to fix them to the edges of the hood.
