here is my plan...i want to add raspberries to it so this is what i am thinking.

leave primary 3 weeks...then cold crash @ 40 degrees 2 days...

add 2 oz. of raspberry bottle (liquid) from lbhs to keg and then put beer from primary directly on top of the raspberry in keg...

carb at serving psi 12 and 40 degrees for 10 days...then drink

look good??? any help is greatly appreciated
 
I suppose there might be some small concern about sanitation, but with alcohol in your beer I wouldn't worry about that issue. I think your theory is sound.

The only caution I might offer (and this is from reading others' posts, not experience as my few fruit beers have all been with real fruit) is that I hear the flavorings sold for beer tend to lend a not-very-convincing flavor that is as much chemical as fruit. YMMV, however :)

If you do decide to go with this, I hope you'll report your findings for the good of the tribe!
