Anyone have an opinion on how long do flaked grains last if stored in a sealed bucket and kept dry and cool? I bought a 50 lb bag of flaked corn that I split 3 ways and now a year later I am suspecting that these have turned bad by now.

Used some that I bought a year ago to do a brew. They were stored in Foodsaver vacuum bags, but were exposed to hot and cold temps as I moved from Alaska to Idaho and storage was not optimal. However, the flaked grains as well as all of my other grains worked good for me and produced some nice beer. Because I did some big bulk orders while living in Alaska because of the costs, I have used grained that were 1.5 years old without issue - of course they were stored at 55 - 60 degrees.
