My wife, ever the little minx, loved to wax the floor in the front hall in winter, & stand back & wait for the show. I'd go zzzzziiip, right toward the patio door on the back of the house. Kinda like loony toons...
Live oak berliner weiss. Me no likely. First beer from them. There is that strange cereal flavor i get in my sour that fades. I do not like that flavor
How was this? It sounds awesome.
Used year old yeast for this and certainly didn't expect the outcome. Pretty tart and almost sour. If i tasted this blind id say it was a berliner, and a pretty good one at that. Not gonna complain about that just not what i expected.

Is it pretty strong in that one?

Pretty damn good. I love Avery's barrel/sour stuff. Can't go wrong with any of them. I couldn't really taste the ginger at first, but as it warmed it started to come through. Aftertaste is ginger and tart lime juice. Very good beer.
Study time at a beer bar.
GI Sofie (2014).
They need a better glassware selection.

There can't be Brett in this. Was planning to save the dregs, but I don't think I'm going to after tasting this.
I am ... two months until the next trip! Still no carb in that I see
Hmmm...I did not know that was retired.
Not real excited that I have a bottle left.
This one is from September 2013. Sweet, oxidation starting to set in. No yeast character whatsoever. Nothing. This could've been fermented with US05 with how it tastes. And certainly no trace of Brett at all. No sure if bad bottle, batch or what, but this is not good. I never dump beer, but this one might clean the drain.

Who said its retired? They might just mean it's retired from bruery, because I think it's just getting rebranded to Bruery Terruex.
#3. Must be slow at this bar. So is 3 22 oz beers in an hour considered over served at an airport?
Confirmed. Not sure what happened as the yeast tasted like a normal hefe. I'm really enjoying it though! View attachment 281214
