I just ordered my first kit from Midwest (autumn amber ale)
It didnt mention anything about Irish Moss. Would it be ok to
Add some to the mix w/o worries? Id hate to mess up my first batch because
I want it really clear!

Thx! :mug:

You will be a-ok. Most kits don't contain or mention Irish moss, but you can add it in with no worries. 1 tbsp with 15 minutes remaining in the boil.

Prost!

Also worth noting that you'll want to ignore the instructions when it says when the beer is done in the primary after x days. Leaving the beer in the primary longer ensures your properly fermented and helps clear the beer as well. When the airlock stops bubbling I would give it at least another week just to be on the safe side. Provided your temps are stable and within the range of the yeast you wont cause any problems with your beer letting it sit in the fermenter longer.
