Right Ive done a little bit of research and I am interested in making my own beer and cider.

Im picking up some demijohns, bungs, airlocks, a brewers barrel or 2 and some other bits and pieces later this week. (all from my Grandad who used to make his own wine and beer)

I have 2 supermarket carrier bags full of apples from my dads garden and would like to know

a, whats the best way to get them to become cider

and b, What other equipment do i need to make this happen

Im not to worried about becoming too technical yet as I just what to get a batch done and then push on from there.

Hope soemone can help

Cheers

I got an juice extractor from the store to do my apples. We have 1 apple tree and 3 pear trees. So Was wanting to mix the pear and apple juice together since I think my apple juice will be quite bland.
