apfelwine smell

Fermenting a batch of Edworts Apfelwine and wow the sulfur smell is strong, have it fermenting in my closet and had the door shut all day while I was at work and wow walked in there and I totally underestimated that sulfur smell the wife just wont stop complaining what do i do.

What happened to your "." and "," keys? I kid, I kid...

Ya, the first time I made Apfelwein I was in no way prepared for the smell, either. I've heard a lot of guys describe it as "Rhino Farts" and I'd say thats a fair comparison.

pretty typical. my whole kitchen smelled like egg farts. that goes away after a few days though

use some yeast nutrient, that should keep the sulfur smell away next time.

Use a blow off tube going into some fabric softener.
