I have been brewing beer for a couple years now, but just finished my first original recipe (Rye IPA). Found it a much more exciting process overall and am looking for tips on making my own pumpkin ale. I am thinking now of experimenting a little bit and seeing if anyone had any interesting ideas. I will probably use 2-row as the base, looking at munich and crystal malts, hallertau hops. Was considering throwing in some coffee malt, but idk if it's a good idea or not. What do you guys think?
